Alcohol Awareness and Its Importance
Youth Outreach
We firmly believe that in order to eliminate drunk and impaired driving that the conversation must begin with our youth community at home and in school as well as within youth groups. Drunk and impaired driving is 100% preventable and we can reach zero deaths. Toward that end, we frequently work and visit with various community groups to share our personal story of how Rory's loss has affected us as well as the dangers associated with drunk and impaired driving.
If you are in need of resources and would like assistance, we are here to help. Please contact us to share the details and we will be in touch.

Community Outreach
We are not anti-alcohol. We are anti-drunk and impair driving. It is important that adults drink responsibly and lead by example. Ultimately, it is about having a plan and doing the right thing.
According to 2011 report by the Center for Disease Control entitled, "Vital Signs: Alcohol-Impaired Driving Among Adults - United States," on average, a drunk driver will drive 80 time under the influence before their first arrest. This statistic is incredibly frustrating to us. It shows that drunk and impaired drivers think it is OK to drive drunk and/or buzzed. It is never an OK decision to drive while impaired by alcohol and/or other drug substances. We strive to inform the public about the ripple effects of drunk and impaired driving. |
